MotoBlade
Unlock Software
Auto-Installer
(Updated 12
Jan. - Ver 1.44g)
The auto-installer will
guide you through the install process.
If you
receive the message below , select "continue anyway"
to allow driver installation.

Step 2
- Connect your phone
Turn
on your Motorola cell phone, and connect your phone
by USB cable. Windows XP should automatically detect
your phone and install the drivers.
If
Windows opens a "Found New Hardware" wizard, select
"Install the Software Automatically (Recommended)",
and complete the hardware wizard.
Step 3 - Test our
Software
If it
is not already running, open the MotoBlade Software.
It can be found by going to Start Menu, then to the
"All Programs" menu, finding the newly-installed "MotoBlade"
folder and running the USB Unlock software.

The
application should open looking like this:

Testing the software.

1. Open the software and enter username
"test" and password "test" (without the
quotation marks).
-The Name/Password info is case
sensitive - make sure you enter these
exactly.

|
|
|
2. Press connect.
If you receive a notification from
Windows Firewall (or any other software
firewall application), click "unblock"
to allow the software to connect to the
server.

After a short delay, your computer
should connect to the unlock server.

3. Select your phone model from the drop
down box next to 'Motorola', highlight
"Check Unlock Possibility" from the box
below. Then press "Start".
 |
|
4. Windows XP should start installing
new hardware devices and a "Found New
Hardware" wizard should appear. Wait a
few seconds.
At this point, the software will give an
error reading "The software is waiting
for your phone to catch up...." Do not
press anything on this error message.
Instead, switch to the "Found New
Hardware" wizard, and select "Install
the software automatically", and press
"Next". Press the "Finish" button once
the drivers have installed correctly.
After you have completed the wizard, you
will see that Windows is still
installing drivers. Two or three more
"Found New Hardware Wizards" will
appear. "Install the software
automatically" for each one, and finish
the process.

Finally, once all the drivers have been
installed, Windows will show the
following icon:

Now return to the software's error
message, and select "OK".
 |
|
5.
You may be prompted to install more
drivers, and a "Motorola Interface Not
Found Or Corrupted" message will appear.
Follow the exact same procedure,
installing all the necessary drivers
before pressing "OK" on the error
message.
If you have any recurring problems,
restart your computer, and try the
process again (starting from the "Test
Our Software" section). You can also
